Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Matchday (the “Service”), operated by MatchDay Company (“we”, “us”). By creating a tournament or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Matchday lets organizers create and publish sports tournaments and share a public page. Public tournament pages are viewable without an account.

Accounts

You sign in with an email link or Google. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the accuracy of the content you publish.

Plans & payments

• A free account can keep one published tournament at a time.
• Additional tournaments can be unlocked individually (one-off payment) or via a Pro subscription for unlimited tournaments.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. One-off purchases are not recurring; subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal, taking effect at the end of the current period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Contact contact@trymatchday.com for billing questions.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, attempt to disrupt the Service, or use it to violate others’ rights. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the tournament data and images you upload. You grant us a licence to host and display that content as needed to provide the Service (including on public pages and link previews).

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use means acceptance.
